Successful night for the sailing school at the gala "Nit de la Vela Balear"
held this past weekend at the Palma Aquarium, Mallorca. Asier Fernandez left for Palma de Mallorca with
some of his sailors to attend a global concentration of technological organized by the Federation regional.
The meeting was attended by 16 members Pitiusa of different modalities.
by the Sailing School, attended Escandell Sergi, Carlos Cardona, Adrian Jimenez, Alex Figueiras and
Mateo Sanz, all in the form RS: X.
To finish the weekend, what better than to reward the best sailors
year we just left. The daily effort and hard work of the sailors
Formentera and the team of the School was again recognized as he deserves.
Mateo Sanz became the main actor of the evening. The Isaf World Championship youth
RS: X made in 2010 led him to take the trophy for best athlete of the Balearic Islands.
But there would not finish the thing. There were still more prizes to come. Castello
Vincent was honored for his championship of Spain in the class Tekno 293, Carlos Cardona
finished third in the Championship of Spain RS: X and Diego Escandell
got the same as in U-17 Cup in Tekno class 293.
The young sailors are growing daily and at every appointment
showing that consistency, hard work every day and excited about continuing to improve, always has its reward.
